V + C have the most perfect meet cute story we’ve ever heard! We love this couple and their love for each other. The serendipity that brought them together really influenced our design; one that was made especially personal by the fact that the wedding would be held at the bride’s parents’ estate. A sailcloth tent adorned with cafe lights and rings of greenery set the stage for a casually elegant evening. Upon arrival, guests were escorted to the side lawn where the ceremony was held. The ceremony was infused with two surprises – one for the guests and one for the bride. The couple’s dog delighted guests as the acting ring bearer bringing the rings up to them at their altar. And the sweetest touch was a group of the bride’s former students serenading the newly married couple with “You Are My Sunshine” as they recessed up the the aisle. Such a tender moment! “Message in a bottle” escort cards were a fun nod to the couple’s meet cute and pointed guests to dinner tables featuring breezy, pastel tablescapes anchored by carved wooden candleholders. It was a very warm summer day but guests partied well into the night snacking on Peace, Love and Little Donuts’ donuts and Chik-Fil-A chicken nuggets. All the fun, all the love.

A wedding at Home
When our couples choose to host their weddings at their homes or a home of a family member, it doesn’t get much more personal than that. We adore an at home wedding for the sheer simplicity of the sentiment the space holds. There is a warmth that exudes from a wedding held at home that’s difficult to replicate. We are a seasoned team when it comes to the logistics of hosting a wedding at home. We’ll make sure tents are procured, a rain plan is set, indoor and outdoor space is thoroughly evaluated for guest flow and all of your vendors have load in and out down pat. We’ll lock in guest conveniences like restrooms and transportation and coordinate all placement and arrivals. A wedding at home is a large undertaking by design and each one is completely individual in its needs. We know those needs and will meet them head on so your process is fun and seamless.
